A reading map is a web-based tool designed to help readers explore a topic or author in more detail, according to Susan Maguire, collection specialist librarian. "Many times a library patron will read a book and be intrigued with the author, subject or time period," she said. "Reading maps help satisfy the patron's curiosity and quest for more information. They are not designed for research; they're for fun."
