Your free card provides you with access to the largest and most varied public library collection in the state and some school libraries. There is no minimum age requirement, but you will need to provide proof of your home address. Your first library card/key tag is free. There is a $1 charge for a replacement card.
Your account is maintained unless closed at your request or unused for five years. In order to ensure quality service, we regularly check with you to keep your account information current.
Certain responsibilities come with your library card, including:
Prompt return or renewal of items. Your borrowing privileges are suspended if you keep an item past its due date or if charges on your account exceed $3.
Let us know if you change your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address.
Report a stolen or lost library card or key tag to the library as soon as possible.
Prompt payment of charges and fees.
Parents and guardians are responsible for materials checked out by their children.
