Poetry Society of America Since the 1930s, the Society has encouraged poets through its poetry competitions and work to keep poetry in the public eye.

Poetry-Portal The Portal is a resource for poetry writers with links to educational resources, competitions and a wide variety of tools and links for the poet.

West Virginia Writers Inc. Poets may wish to participate in various writers group around the state and programs run by West Virginia Writers
